Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers using Hyaluronic acid can be used to improve the so-called marionette lines by the sides of the mouth to give a more youthful look. It has been described as a non-surgical face lift.

Dermal fillers are non-animal based Hyaluronic acid (a natural sugar compound which is naturally found in our joints) which has been approved by the FDA since 2003 for cosmetic use. It is used to fill out soft-tissue defects such as wrinkles and add volume underneath the skin. The effects can last up to nine months.
